UPDATING MICROSOFT OUTLOOK

This section contains instructions on how to update your Microsoft Outlook settings.

To begin, open MS Outlook. On the main application menu choose Tools, then Accounts.

At this point you will have an email account configured to collect email from Proweb (UK) Ltd, if not please add a new one using the parameters shown in this help.

To add a new email collection account, click here.

To modify your existing account to collect mail for your domain, read on.

Click on Add, then on Mail...

Enter your name as you would like people to see it if you send them a message. e.g. If your name is John Smith, enter John Smith here, and then click Next

Enter your e-mail address that you want any replies to your mails to be sent to. for example, if you recieve e-mails sent to John@Smith.co.uk then you would enter John@Smith.co.uk here, and then click Next to continue

On this screen, enter pop.proweb.net as the incoming server and also as the outgoing server, as shown in the picture above

Enter the username as your mail address, for example, if your mail address is John@smith.co.uk, you would enter John@Smith.co.uk as your user name. The password for the account will be the password that you have had set up on the account

Select the option to establish your internet connection manually if you wish to dial up to the internet yourself, if you want outlook to dial up to collect, then select the automatic connection option.
If you are on a LAN or using broadband, select the Local Area Network option.

The account setup is now complete, so you can click Finish to save the settings and return to outlook.
